Cologne, Germany; Boston, USA – March 19, 2012
Content Management AG (CM-AG), a leading developer of web-based applications, will showcase its website building solution CM4all Sites and its comprehensive range of customization options at booth #64 at the world's largest hosting event WorldHostingDays 2012. The trade show will be held at Europa Park in Rust, Germany, from March 20 to March 23, 2012.
CM4all Sites has been successfully rolled out in more than ten language versions by CM-AG’s OEM partners worldwide. Based on a completely revamped CM4all technology, the product maintains proven administrative APIs and has been deployed in various hardware scenarios ranging from redundant failover solutions to highly scalable cluster solutions in the data centers of CM-AG’s OEM partners.
“Thanks to our partnerships with leading telcos, MSOs, ISPs, and web-hosting companies worldwide for over 11 years, we know that adapting and customizing our products to each OEM partner’s very individual requirements is key. Our architecture is natively designed to allow our partners to fully differentiate the product they offer their customers, whether they serve the overall SMB market or dedicated vertical markets. Multiple OEM partners have already leveraged this opportunity to create their own custom site building solutions and have successfully launched CM4all Sites. Since they are at the core of each OEM project, we look forward to providing a detailed view of the individual customization options of our CM4all Sites platform to an international audience at WorldHostingDays along with an exciting preview of what is soon to come,” explains Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM-AG.
CM4all Sites provides considerably enhanced customization options. The application now allows each OEM partner to create their very own website building solution by individualizing and extending both the pre-defined website categories and corresponding default content that users can choose from on the Instant Setup Page. Additionally, OEM partners planning to realize a vertical market or a managed services approach benefit greatly from CM-AG’s Simplified Template Concept which enables OEMs and their resellers to easily expand the built-in selection of fully customizable CSS design templates by creating and integrating their own.
As always, the application’s look-and-feel and its widget configuration can be tailored to an OEM partner’s brand and the needs of its distinct target groups. The entire user interface can be adapted to the partner's distinctive corporate design and allows for the integration of custom content such as OEM-specific advertisements and video tutorials to maximize the up-selling and cross-selling potential of CM4all Sites. When licensing the CM4all Sites Reseller Edition, each OEM partner can tailor the application to multiple brands or complex multi-tier distribution systems by making full use of the customization options for each reseller separately.
CM-AG's new widget technology not only allows for convenient drag-and-drop, configuration, and arrangement of all website elements but also enables the development of new widgets by CM-AG, OEM partners, and external software engineers via the open widget API of CM4all Sites. The existing widget catalog – ranging from contact forms through weather forecasts to social media connectivity with Twitter® and Facebook® – has recently been supplemented with Google+, SiteMap, Search, and Download widgets and can be expanded continuously. In order to facilitate the development of new widgets by external developers, CM-AG will officially release the CM4all Widget Developer Network later this year. Interested visitors to WorldHostingDays 2012 can get a sneak peek at it during the event and apply to join afterward.
