Cologne, Germany; Boston, USA – March 16, 2011
Content Management AG (CM-AG), a leading developer of web-based applications, will showcase its brand-new website building solution CM4all Sites at booth #82 at the world's largest hosting event WorldHostingDays 2011. The trade show formerly known as WebhostingDay will be held at Europa Park in Rust, Germany, from March 22 to March 25.
“We are very proud of our latest site building innovation and look forward to presenting our product to WorldHostingDays’ international audience. CM4all Sites is essentially a platform that allows our OEMs to create their own custom site building solution. CM4all Sites will provide value to existing customers and open up new business opportunities for OEM partners worldwide,” explains Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM-AG.
CM4all Sites is based on a completely revamped CM4all technology, an open widget concept and a new GUI, but retains most of the proven administrative APIs and the existing hardware architecture. The new Instant Setup Page gets users up and running in the blink of an eye, and CM-AG's innovative widget technology allows for convenient drag & drop, configuration, and arrangement of all website elements. Built-in widgets range from contact forms through weather forecasts to social media connectivity with Twitter® and Facebook®. A dedicated shop widget enables users to integrate their own online shop into their website. In addition, CM4all Sites is designed with an open widget API that allows for continuous development of widgets by CM-AG, OEM partners, and external software engineers.
For increased usability, a unique WYSIWYG editor provides full drag & drop functionality and allows for direct editing without any pop-ups. The improved template model enables users to fully individualize the included set of CSS templates by editing all colors and fonts as well as adding their own logos and images. A comprehensive file browser with an interactive drop zone accelerates uploading to the user's webspace and facilitates file administration.
In addition to the well-known customization options of CM4all products, CM4all Sites enables OEMs to tailor the software’s feature configuration to the needs of their target groups by selecting which website categories, default content and widgets they want to offer.
With the goal of meeting each OEM's individual requirements, CM4all Sites runs on a variety of hardware architectures. Possible configurations include single server solutions, pairs of redundant servers and highly scalable clusters. Operated in the market proven SaaS model, CM4all Sites is administered remotely. CM-AG safeguards the software’s availability with 24/7 support and continuously updates both the operating system and the software application for its OEM partners.
