At HostingCon Global in New Orleans from July 24 to July 27, we presented recent updates to our mobile editor directly from our lab along with the latest CM4all Sites GUI in line with Google’s “Material design” style guide. Throughout the show, we were greeted with a positive response and received a wealth of in-depth user feedback and valuable input. Thanks to everybody who took the time to stop by our booth, sat down with us in a meeting, or just chatted with us at one of the networking events.
Overall attendance was lower than expected, although HostingCon is the premier North American conference and trade show for the hosted services industry, and Penton implemented some fresh, new ideas to bring people to the show floor. Nevertheless, the meetings that we had were very good and, as usual, it was a great opportunity to connect with new and existing partners from the Americas and all over the world.
The city of New Orleans served as an ideal spot for enjoying great live jazz music and getting a good taste of the South’s famous food specialties. The various networking events were well attended and most of them took place in close proximity to the conference hotel. Personally, I think the WHIR Networking Event at Fulton Alley on Tuesday night was the standout event out of all of the networking choices. The whole CM4all team had a blast at the bowling alley and mingling with the international crowd. It was great for communication, fun and it sparked everybody’s competitive spirit. After all the Southern food we tried during our stay in New Orleans, we could have easily survived without a meal for quite some time.
Traveling in the United States at this time of the year? That’s another story! Our team can share our stories about it when we meet again at one of our upcoming events. We all look forward to seeing you soon!
