Domainpulse is the annual event organized by the three German-language domain registries DENIC, SWITCH and NIC.at. The event is held each year in Austria, Germany or Switzerland in turn.
This year’s domainpulse was held in Vienna, Austria, at an impressive venue, the Palais Niederoesterreich, which is a baroque mansion with an eventful history located in downtown Vienna.
The agenda of the two-day event included panel discussions and keynotes by key opinion leaders in the Internet industry. From my point of view, the keynote by Lieutenant Colonel Volker Kozok (Assistant Branch Chief in the Legal Division of the German Ministry of Defense) was most remarkable. Mr. Kozok illustrated the level of malicious Internet activities going on daily using the example of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. These range from fake news to DDOS attacks.
Domainpulse provided a great opportunity for CM4all to meet with our existing and prospective partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as for engaging with the vibrant domain industry and discussing the latest trends.
We are already looking forward to domainpulse 2018 in Munich.
