This year, WHD.global was attended by more than 6,000 participants, an indication that this has really become the major event for the hosting and cloud industry worldwide. As always, Soeren, Christian and the whole WHD.global team did a great job in organizing the event!
Multiple fellow exhibitors in the website building field underlined the strategic importance for hosters of offering a competitive site building product that is truly adapted to their needs and seamlessly integrated for an optimal end user experience. With the variety of solutions on display, we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we received on the latest product updates and added marketing support for our OEM partners. The brand-new key visual area, including slide show options, and the completely overhauled section for previewing designs on various types of desktops, mobile phones and tablets were among the add-ons most sought after by our user base. Added widgets for business productivity, such as Booking.com, Ebay Product, Google calendar, a new blog widget and our integration with Act! Cloud – the first of its kind for a sitebuilder available to OEM partners worldwide – rounded out the release.
Once again, the event was a great opportunity for meeting existing partners, talking to new prospects and deepening our understanding of the latest trends in the industry. Through the numerous talks and in-depth presentations both at the hosting fair and our dedicated meeting room, we gained valuable input for further improvements and new developments for our premium site building solution CM4all Sites. Our mixed team at the show consisting of Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Key Account Management benefitted equally from the time spent at the event presenting, discussing and listening. We all look forward to continuing our work with OEM partners worldwide and making their site building offerings even more successful.
It was pretty unusual for the event that the weather didn’t quite match last year’s sunny weather and mild temperatures. We even experienced some rain during the final days of WHD.global – a rare occurrence – so we are all hoping everything will be “back to normal” next year!
We look forward to seeing you all back soon at the upcoming WHD.usa next month at 7Springs Ski & Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania.
