ICANN 's second Global Domains Division (GDD) Industry Summit was held from May 17 to 19 in Amsterdam.
This is a new ICANN event format that focuses on bringing together registries and registrars to debate issues of shared importance.
Unlike the regular large ICANN meetings that happen quarterly, the GDD summit is not framed to discuss domain policy.
CM4all attended this event for two days, joining a vibrant community of large domain service providers from all over the world.
Four hundred delegates at VP and president level from across the globe attended the conference, and the atmosphere was very open and collaborative.
For CM4all, it was a good opportunity to catch up with current partners and to meet promising new contacts. Our entirely new mobile user experience was extremely well received as was CM4all’s special domain bundling product. This entry-level option from our vast range of product configurations is an excellent fit for those hosting and domain service providers looking to further commercialize the domain registration process.
We are already looking forward to ICANN 56 in Helsinki!
