Database function
The user can integrate a relational database into his or her website using this function. It is possible to either import an existing database in .csv format or create a new database within the CM4all WebsiteCreator. The export of databases created in CM4all WebsiteCreator in .csv format is also supported. As a result, users can integrate complex product catalogues, price overviews or inventory lists into the website, for example.
In the website, database contents are displayed in table form corresponding to the homepage design. Users can search the database according to their individual criteria and display detailed results with an easy-to-use search function.
CM4all Technology not only serves as a platform for content management services, but also enables the integration of any desired XML web services.
The CM4all WebsiteCreator Business Edition offers many interesting additional website functions that have been designed specifically to meet the needs of small and medium-sized companies as well as residential customers.
Our OEM customers can use these additional functions to create a fully customised service package for their customers. All of our existing OEM customers offer several of the extra functions as part of the full version of CM4all WebsiteCreator, which is provided for a fee. This provides customers with an incentive to expand the range of services that they are currently using. In addition, it is possible to offer individual extra functions as services for a special monthly fee.
