New Web Storage Solution CM4all OnlineDrive Released to OEM Customers

CM4all OnlineDrive provides online file storage and file sharing to satisfy the rising demands in digital photography, music, and video storage space.

CM4all, the world’s top provider of Web content management software, today announced the release of CM4all OnlineDrive, a new ASP Web storage solution aimed at Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Web hosts, telcos, and cable providers who want to serve the growing market demand in online file storage space. The state-of-the-art CM4all OnlineDrive application is currently available for licensing, customization, and installation in data centers beginning today.

CM4all´s OnlineDrive application gives its customers the freedom to offer sophisticated, stable storage of all files in their data center via an intuitive Web browser interface. CM4all OnlineDrive functions as a file manager, viewer, and a sharing application with data center levels of file protection, all of which can be controlled and managed on any computer or device with Internet access. CM4all OnlineDrive supports the rapidly growing usage of digital files by giving users maximum flexibility in accessing, storing, and editing their digital documents, music, and pictures.

“CM4all OnlineDrive will fit perfectly into the portfolio of any Web host or ISP and nicely extends their core service of providing Web space,” said Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM4all.  “Also, by enabling our partners to re-brand and fully integrate CM4all OnlineDrive, we save them a considerable amount of time and internal resources that would have been otherwise spent developing their own in-house solutions.”

The explosive growth of user-generated content is transforming the Internet into an interactive, collaborative channel for mass-market consumers, says Leonor Ciarlone, Senior Analyst at The Gilbane Group. “Social networking applications are a critical indicator of this emerging community-centric Web phenomenon. CM4all´s OnlineDrive technology will allow its partners to capitalize on this trend and provide consumers with ease-of-use in managing, storing, and sharing all types of user-generated content.”

With the demand for online storage projected to continue rising over the next decade, CM4all OnlineDrive enables CM4all’s OEM partners to fulfill the immediate and growing demand for increased storage space and file sharing.
