CM-AG Signs T-Online As First Customer of Its New Event Homepage
Now users can create the perfect Web presence for special events with new CM4all-based software.
Cologne, Germany; Boston, USA - February 21, 2006
CM-AG today announced that its first OEM customer, T-Online, has licensed CM4All’s new Web-based software to enable users to create a T-Online Event Homepage. The new T-Online Event Homepage software enables users to professionally organize and announce private parties or other family celebrations through easy-to-use templates and wizards. T-Online’s customers can access the Design Wizard, a tool for creating and maintaining professional Web sites, with integrated Event Planning at www.t-online.de/eventhomepage.
The integrated Event Planning component of the software manages the entire event process including the dispatch of invitations, the administration of acceptances and rejections, and the creation of a list with miscellaneous information about guests. The invitations can be created for digital output or as hard copy postcards. If the user creates digital invitations, these are sent directly from the Design Wizard to the invited guests. A more traditional invitation can be created online using one of the predefined postcard layouts or one designed by the user.
In a step-by-step manner the Design Wizard guides users through designing a Web site for the event, be it a flashy 1970s party, a classic wedding ceremony, or a family celebration. When creating the Web presence, users can choose from a multitude of predefined templates and texts. Various Flash intros and tools - like visitor counters, guestbooks, maps, and news tickers - round out the professional Internet presence. Those who want to restrict access to their Web site can activate the integrated password protection.
Event Homepage is an additional development and enhancement of Design Wizard, which is based on highly-scalable CM4all Technology developed by CM-AG. Users who are interested in the new features can book the Event Homepage software including a .de domain with T-Online for a monthly fee of 6.95 euro. No setup fee will be charged.
