Web Host Hostpoint Launches Site Builder Using CM4All Sites

Swiss web hosting provider Hostpoint has launched HostPoint SITES, according to a press release on Monday. Hostpoint SITES uses CM4all’s website building solution, according to a separate announcement by CM4all, also on Monday. Hostpoint is the first hosting provider in Switzerland to offer CM4all Sites.

According to the press release, the cloud-based Hostpoint SITES allows customers without programming skills to build websites.

The basic version of Hostpoint SITES is included at no extra cost with its Smart and Business web hosting packages.

“We are convinced that thanks to CM4all Sites, we now have the opportunity to create a truly integrated homepage product and deliver the functionality that users want in a well designed and tested user interface that all of them can actually use. It goes without saying that we will make our new solution available to all Swiss customers from day one no matter which languages they speak and which one they prefer,” Yvan Knapp, chief customer officer of Hostpoint said in a statement.

Hostpoint SITES features customizable templates, and other widgets such as Facebook and Twitter integration.

Features like photo albums, contact forms, event calendars and online shops can be inserted into sites using the drag and drop feature and will be functional immediately, according to the press release.

Hostpoint says an image database, and a file manager are also included in the price. With Hostpoint SITES, customers will receive a complete web hosting package including up to 75 GB storage space, an unlimited number of email addresses, and many other features.
