NewMedia Express Integrates CM4all's OnlineDrive

CM-AG, a provider of web-based applications, today announced that NewMedia Express, a Asian hosting provider and member of Singapore's ambitious National Grid, has integrated CM4all's OnlineDrive. The company states that NewMedia Express has serviced clients in Asia and received accolades for their service. It adds that today the company is further expanding into the Asian-Pacific region while forging stronger relationships and alliances with partners from all over the world.

The company further states that it is one of the partners to help NewMedia Express to integrate value-added services to the newly formed nGrid platform. It explains that this platform, provided by several consortiums and driven by the Singaporean government, will activate on-demand access to high performance computing capabilities, software applications as well as storage capacity. It will reduce the need of SMBs for upfront capital investment. It also adds that grid computing will be affordable to the masses as it is based on a pay-per-use model.

"It is very interesting to see the response to this innovative platform and especially to our service. We are looking forward to a successful long term partnership with NewMedia Express and would be pleased to provide additional value-added services running on the platform in the future" says Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM-AG.

"Singapore is among the first countries to embark on such a national effort drawing together commercial grid service providers to offer pay-per-use access to computing, storage and software facilities. We are very proud to be one of the chosen service providers for this service. With CM4all's OnlineDrive we can now offer a state-of-the-art online storage solution which will fit to our customers' needs", says Alan Woo, CTO of NewMedia Express.
